Buildwas Village

Buildwas is a village based near the foot of the Wrekin in Shropshire. There is a village hall, a village school, a church and the most beautiful historic ruins. The village is situated in between Telford and Shrewsbury and just 2 miles from Ironbridge.

STOP PRESS: The date for the big lunch printed in Under the Wrekin is WRONG - correct date Sunday 3rd June!

Golf Day at The Shropshire Golf Club on Friday 11th May 2012. To raise money for the childrens play equipment that has been condemmed at the school. If you know anyone who'd like to participate, sponsor or donate contact dan@pgaadvancedprofessional.co.uk

Sunday 3rd June will be a Golden Jubilee 'Big Lunch' event in Buildwas Village Hall more details to follow.....

Saturday 7th July 2 - 4pm 2012 will be the Annual village Fete held on the green behind the church (weather permitting) or inside the village hall if the weather's not so good! There will be a HUGE range of stalls and events for the whole family
